"I don't know," she answered, sounding irritated by the question. "Probably somewhere doing mundane housewife shit."
"Are you feeling all right, Mrs. Whitefield?"
"Stacy," she said. "And I'm fine. Better than ever, really."
"You know you're acting real weird, right?"
"Yeah, well, I volunteered Zelda and I for this experiment. Thought it might make her act differently. Not sure why I bothered. She was acting just fine. I was the one who needed a change."
"What sort of experiment?"
"Some boring psychology stuff. There were a bunch of us there."
"Who?" Athena asked.
Stacy thought about it...
Earlier that afternoon
Stacy dragged her daughter through the door. "This is for your own good," she insisted. "They said it would help our relationship."
"This is stupid," Zelda insisted.
"Stupid or not, I've signed the forms and we're doing it. Sit down."
Zelda did so, grumbling. She looked around, seeing several other people waiting in the room.
