"You have a son? When the fuck were you going to tell me that?" the teenage Goth boy asked.
"I was hoping never," she answered him.
The Goth boy turned towards Jon, then noticed something in his hand. "What the fuck is that?" he asked, pointing at Jon's hand.
"Uh ... nothing."
One of the Goths nearby walked over and pried open Jon's hand and removed the stone. Then he threw it to the teenage Goth boy.
His mom's apparent boyfriend (Jon wasn't sure, but he thought his name was Drake) looked at the stone and then back Jon. "Were you going to throw this at me? I wish you'd tell me the truth, you fucking little shit."
Suddenly, the stone glowed in his hand and Jon was forced to tell him that he wasn't going to throw the stone at him, but rather was planning to make a wish using the stone.
Drake's (or whatever his name was) eyes went wide, realizing that this was indeed a genuine wishing stone.
Jon's mom grabbed it from her boyfriend and looked at it. She saw it glow, just like everyone else had, so she knew it was real. But she wanted to test it out herself.
But what should she wish for?
