I had a chance to decide whether or not to accept the parameters set. I decided not to edit it aside from adding a bit more muscle tone. I didn't even look at the menus again. There were no other changes I wanted to make. It was time to get going and play the game. I was surprised as my body morphed. The mirror stretched and flexed so I could see my whole body. It was strange. It felt like I always had this type of body. Taking a few steps was exciting. I did things like this often and I loved it. I looked around and saw a door. I walked to it and put my hand on the knob. A popup appeared in front of me saying "You are leaving the character creation room. You will not be allowed to return here again. Are you sure you wish to leave?". I knew that lots of time had already passed. I wanted to hurry and find Suzie. I turned the knob and opened the door. It was a bright white light I could not see through. I guessed I was supposed to walk just through it to get to the game. I did and continued on for what felt like 10 seconds. The world needed to load in properly, I guessed.

My eyes blinked and I was suddenly in an empty, sprawling plain. It was beautiful and I looked around for a few minutes. With my gawking at the scenery out of the way, I thought about the map. It quickly popped into my mind and I sighed. This setting did not track at all with what I was told by Suzie or what I had read myself in the developers' blogs. I had to look at the menu and look at where I was. When I saw that I was in an entirely different world, I was upset. "Shit! Where the hell am I then!?" I said as I bit my thumbnail. I looked again and saw that the world of Taberth was an alien planet soon to be visited by human explorers. Looking closer at the menu's built in encyclopedia, the planet had 5 sentient creatures. I was a Dikir Phesurs, a blue and black bee morph. I wanted to know more about my species. Phesurs have abdomens behind them. The abdomens have both oily genetic material and eggs. For mating, a Dominance Fight takes place. Afterwards, the points on their abdomens interlock. The Dominant sucks out the oil out of the Submissive to fertilize their eggs.

After fertilizing the eggs, they can either implant it in the ground or have another incubate them. The children would hatch and wander off on their own. The fertilization process has psychologically and hormonal reinforcing effects. A Dominant will progressively make more eggs and less oil, while a Submissive will progressively make less eggs and more oil. Roles can still change with enough will and combat prowess however. That was very concerning to me. There was an immediate danger. If I lost too many fights amongst my kind here, I would become an empty headed slut begging to be stuffed with eggs from other egg laying creatures. That was something that was totally unacceptable to me. It would definitely not be something I would want to play anymore. I either needed to become a badass fighter, or isolate myself from the other Phesurs. As a level 1 Player, I could not be certain of my safety. That made me roll my eyes. I looked at how I could help myself keep safe from the others. I knew there was a skill tree system in the game. That could work for me.

There were many skill trees to max out, so a Player could be a jack of all trades and a master of either one to the detriment of all others, or none but competent in all the basic skills. There were the Combat, Racial, Biological and Astrobiological trees. Combat referred to fighting. Racial trees allowed me to improve various aspects of being a Phesur. Biological meant that I could increase or manipulate my body to my advantage. Astrobiological trees linked to alien races and travel. In theory, I could make it so that I could survive on other planets or make my biology compatible or incompatible with alien races. That could be beneficial if I wanted to explore other planets. At level 1, the player was given five skill points to allocate. Since it was the first week, there was a perk of having an additional ten skill points. That meant that I had fifteen points to allocate. I went to the Racial tree to see what I could do with myself. There were multiple skills ranging from flight speed to willpower to exoskeleton strength. Even oil/egg production could be changed. I wondered what to pick.
