Jon began to fiddle with a knob on the side marked Power. "I should be able to zap them all at once," he said.
"Should? Jon...are you sure you know how that thing works?"
"Of course I do, I wished it up."
"Yes, but you have several controls on the side...do you know what they do?"
"It's exactly like I envisioned it. The power allows you to do a group at once."
He fired at the three Goths. A red light lit up on the gun, and it began to beep. And then...everything changed.
