Indeed. As always you hit the nail on the head there. I was thinking about Lilly's plot (guilty) when thinking about jon's eventual decision which is why I thought it would be nice to address it a little more. No decision need be made now of course... But there are pros as well as cons in any decision to the point that no decision can actually be an evil one exactly... And no tf has actually been punishing. Even Anneza has had huge gains as well as loss...
Of course it has to be 'interesting', given that was the first world wish. I'm no too inclined on the whole going back and forth idea and I felt Brittany would advise against it.. While it does appeal to choice and freedom it also takes away the parallel we have to the world that nobody has a choice in what they are... One of the aspects to the story I like. And there is significant long term benefit to keeping things as they are that should not be discounted. (playing devils advocate here)
It would also be extremely damaging to age changed people I think.
That being said of course humans shouldn't fade away... They are part of the whole life cycle after all.
One of the ideas I has earlier was that the enemy did exactly this... A world of shapeshifters that removed themselves from reality. As a kind of warning of what 'could' happen. They would use the stone to force everyone into their formless state... If they could. Though this conflicts with another Idea I had been going with that the enemy has always existed.
And no I will never write ... And it was all just a dream ;)
