"Okay, now it's your turn," Karyn said. "Give me the device and I'll scan you."
"Okay," Jon said, pressing the RETURN TO SCAN MODE? option and giving the device over to Karyn. "I reset it. So it should be in scan mode again."
Karyn looked at the screen. Jon was right. It said SCAN. So she did. And moments later, Jon's list of personality traits appeared on the screen. "Wow, there's a lot here," she said, looking through the list.
"Yeah, well, you had a lot too."
After scrolling through the entire list (some of which was very enlightening for her), she saw three questions at the bottom. The first was: ERASE? The second was: CLONE? And the third was RETURN TO SCAN MODE?
She thought for a moment. Should she just return to scan mode or maybe use the device on Jon some more? There were a few personality traits that he could do without, for one thing. Or maybe she could clone his traits and use some of them later on someone else.
"Are you done trying it out?" Jon asked.
