Ms. Lydia Warren, an elementary school teacher (in fact, she was Mikey's teacher), was out for her morning jog, when suddenly she was disoriented. She felt herself stumble to a stop and then everything seemed to get all fuzzy. When her head cleared, she looked around and saw people acting very strangely.
Where just a moment ago was a woman walking her dog, there now was an overweight man holding a leash that was connected to a dog collar worn by a young woman. The woman was fully dressed, as if she were about to go to work, but she was acting like a dog.
And on the other side of the street, she saw three adults and a cat playing in a playground. Just before Lydia became disoriented, she saw four children playing there.
And then there were also the cars, or actually the drivers inside them. Some of them weren't all that strange, but one of the drivers seemed to only be about nine years old and another car was being driven by a parrot! Or at least the parrot was in the driver's seat. Birds obviously can't drive.
It wasn't until Lydia looked down at herself that she realized that she too was different. She didn't know how, but she appeared to be in the body of a teenage boy.
"I wish I knew what was happening," she said, not really expecting to get an answer. But she did. The stone grew warm in her hand and the knowledge she sought for appeared in her head. She knew all about the Body Swapper and what it had done. But what shocked her wasn't the knowledge that was given to her, but rather the realization that the stone she was holding could grant wishes.
