Karyn decided to start by changing what Jon would be wearing on his date with Pete. Jon and Pete will be going on their date in the nude. They can wear shoes, but nothing else. Nobody will find it the slightest bit strange that two teenage boys would be going around naked. In addition, both Jon and Pete will have been working out to look good for their date. And, even if Jon isn't gay, he is still genuinely attracted to other men and enjoys gay sex. Finally, he and Pete genuinely love each other, even if they don't admit it right away. They will want to get married, but their relationship will always be sufficiently open that they can have sex with others without hurting their relationship.
Jon's clothing disappeared. He buffed up a little. He finished saying something. "What was that?" she asked.
"I said," said Jon, "that just because I like having sex with Pete, doesn't mean that either of us is gay. Sex is how we show our friendship, that's all."
Suddenly, Jon's mom called up. "Pete's here, dear," she yelled. Karyn followed Jon down. Pete, true to her note, was wearing only shoes. Jon's mom seemed completely fine with her son being both completely naked and going out with an equally naked guy. "Have fun, sweetie," she said. Jon and Pete held hands as they walked out the door. Karyn wondered what kind of date they were going to have now.
