Samantha hated the thought of the perpetrator of her transformation getting farther away but it was unwise to travel during the night so with great reluctance she started the process of making camp for the night and setting her squire to gather some firewood. She eyed their single tent and decided they would be sleeping in shifts again. The paladin had shared shelter with her squire on many occasions before the change but it seemed different now that she was female. She wasn’t sure if it was her squire she didn’t trust or herself. The more she thought about it the more certain it was herself that she didn’t trust because of the feelings inside of her.

Albert had been her squire for many years and she trusted him with her life. A change of genders wouldn’t break the trust between them even if Albert was awkward around girls. Samantha, however, was unfamiliar with this form and the urges she was feeling. She didn’t know how deep the changes were. As a man she had been very unfamiliar with women, she had always dealt with them in a professional capacity, not a physical one. She wasn’t sure if the tingles and pleasures of flesh she was feeling were normal and that left her with little confidence or trust in herself. She wished she could talk to Princess Fina though she suspected the conversation would be awkward.

“Do you want the first shift or the second one?” She asked her squire as he came back with the firewood.

His face turned red and she remembered that the last time he had been in charge of watching was when she had been transformed. She still trusted him with her life, it was likely he had been put to sleep by magic and even if that wasn’t the case everyone makes mistakes.

“Don’t worry, I trust you,” she smiled warmly at him. “Make your choice.”
