Karyn looked back at the pencil and picked it up. Then she began to erase the name Zelda and replace it with her own. So the sentence now read:
Jon has a big date today with Karyn, his sister's cybergoth friend.
She was about to erase the rest, but she was startled by her sudden transformation. She found herself in a black skin-tight full body latex suit and a pair of black knee-high buckled boots with five-inch heels. She looked at herself in the mirror and was shocked to see that her hair was dyed blue and formed into dreadlocks. And there was blue lipstick on her lips and blue eyeshadow around her black eye-lined eyes. And on top of her head was a pair of goggles.
"Oh god, I'm a freak," Karyn said.
"Good luck on your date tonight," Jon's sister Zoe suddenly said.
Karyn turned and looked at the Goth girl. She was smiling at Karyn, which made her suddenly remember what was on the piece of paper. Not only was she supposed to be a cybergoth in this reality, but also Zoe's friend.
Karyn had to fix this. Now.
