It took another week before Dame Glenda Sliverthorn and five of her men came to the shrine exhausted and covered in blood. When they were safe, Glenda knighted all of the five. I was sure that 13 of them left with her. It must have been a hard battle with all the sectarian violence. She came to us and smiled. "I have met with the other masters and the grand master in Qwindon. They were surprised by the happenings and allowed me to bring a treasure back here. I was very blessed to be able to bring the Mirror of Loveliness to the shrine. It will be placed in the honden." She then smirked as she pulled out two roses. One rose was pink and the other was white. "These came from the Roses themselves and will be enshrined here as well." she said with pride. Chat told her about Red and her donation. "The three Roses will be pleased to have such a big and holy space to be worshiped here." she said with a nod. That was true. I was glad that I was the one who got this done for the church. As I helped out with construction that day, the roses were put in their own auxiliary shrines.

Now the progress was:

Builder

-Torii – Shinto gate (Complete)
-Stone stairs (Complete)
-Sandō – the approach to the shrine
-Chōzuya or temizuya – place of purification to cleanse one's hands and mouth
-Tōrō – decorative stone lanterns
-Kagura-den – building dedicated to Noh or the sacred kagura dance
-Shamusho – the shrine's administrative office
-Ema – wooden plaques bearing prayers or wishes (complete)
-Sessha/massha – small auxiliary shrines (complete)
-Komainu – the so-called "lion dogs", guardians of the shrine (4/2)
-Haiden – oratory or hall of worship
-Tamagaki – fence surrounding the honden
-Honden – main hall, enshrining the kami
-Visible chigi (forked roof finials) and katsuogi (short horizontal logs), both common shrine ornamentations.

Sculptor (complete)

-Koma-usagi (4/2)
-Toro (0/10)

Founding clerical staff

-Three priests (1/3)
-Two monks (1/2)
-Inquisitor(0/1)

Relics (complete)

Treasure (complete)

The next target was the Honden and the Tamagaki. Since we now had a treasure to enshrine, we had to build a structure to house the mirror. Since we had the auxiliary shrines up, we could pray of we wanted. Red, Pink and White were able to appear and look around. They were pleased and spent time walking around and petting the guardians. Cocoa and Cinnabun were extremely docile and loyal to them. I certainly thought it was very cute to see it. Chien returned and the courier was still with him. It was weird. "We went to all the bases and got them to activate. Hopefully, there will be better access to and the from the shrine from now on." Chien said. I nodded and hoped that was the case. Getting more resources and people here would help the most. I was right and more people began coming over. The actual builders were royally contracted so they were really good and a week was all it took to get it all done. Even the chigi and katsuogi were finished. Next was the sando and the haiden. After that, everything else was optional, but would grant more respect to the faith.
