Once they had finished their meal, Jon's salad was delicious, Karyn called the waiter over and asked for the bill.
"Of course Sir." The waiter said and he disappeared to fulfill Karyn's request. While they waited Karyn took out his phone. "I'm just going to call our driver." He explained to Jon who nodded in response.
"Hello Dave?" Karyn asked as the phone was answered. "Yeah we're just finishing up now and we'll be out soon...yes bring the limo around." After that Karyn hung up and put his phone down on the table just as the waiter returned with the bill placing it in front of Karyn.
Karyn paid the bill while leaving a large tip. The waiter's eyes bulged at the size of the tip. "T-thank you Sir." He said stammering. Karyn smiled. "Please. It's the least that I can do. That steak was the best steak that I've ever had."
The waiter nodded. "Well enjoy the rest of your evening." He said before bowing and leaving.
Karyn then got up and walked over to Jon and helped him out of his seat. He then offered Jon his arm which he took and then Karyn led the way out of the restaurant both of them thanking the staff as they left.
Sure enough outside the restaurant their limo was waiting for them. Dave, their driver, was standing by the car. As they got nearer Dave opened the door and held it for them as Jon slid in to the back seat remembering to smooth his dress before he got in.
Karyn followed suite as he got in next to Jon. Once Dave was back behind the wheel karyn called out. "Back to the hotel please." They were both rather tired especially Jon who was still suffering from jet lag a little.
