When you went to Almond University, you really did not care about academics. There were schools for nursing, humanities and social work that the college did provide a student, but most came to party. It was in a secluded area with quick access to a metropolitan city center by car. They also had lots of inter-mural sports and a very wide selection of clubs. And the selection only got longer and longer every year. They say that your college years are some of the best in your life. If you wanted a great time in college, you went to AU. Most people did and were some were even moderately successful in life afterwards. Most ended up either working as baristas and the bitter freelancers, or as fresh recruits in daddy's business or firm.
Elijah was doing his best to make something of himself and was a nursing student. Elijah certainly had his shit together by all accounts. Even with all the decadent Greek life on campus, he still made sure to have time set aside for schoolwork. He had his associate's degree in nursing and was already licensed. He was still going for his bachelor's degree as well as a second associate's degree in math. He had just got his certification back from the American Nurses Association. He was not too sure with himself when he had finished the test. His fraternity, Alpha Rho Iota, were celebrating with him and throwing a party. He was happy to put things aside for the night and revel after all the hard work they put in. Everyone was waiting for him to get dressed.
As he got dressed in his room, he looked in the mirror as he put shirts in front of him. On his left pectoral was a black key. He did not like showing off that he was a Key to people. He wanted to be a great nurse. Being a sex symbol was a disgusting thing in his mind. The only people who knew were his 16 frat brothers. One of them was even a red Key as well. They got along better than most, although he was a stereotypical frat bro. He put a red polo shirt and white shorts. He went down to the common room and he was cheered. The guys were all dressed like doctors and the girls were dressed as slutty nurses. Elijah was not aware of the dress code and laughed. It was not at all what he would have expected. He was handed a beer and the party began.
