He kind of did. Alex always did. He just didn't know if that was something she wanted. Moving too fast could ruin a friendship after all. They played for another four hours. They got trounced by the boss of the level six times in a row before they had to admit defeat. Leslie sighed and checked her phone. It was after 7 o'clock in the evening. "I guess its time that we called it. Austin won't like me in your apartment after dark." she teased. Alex rolled his eyes as she got up and collected her things. He walked her to the elevator. When the elevator closed with her inside, he sighed again and went back to his apartment. He put the game away and saw that his article had been accepted. That was good and he went around the apartment looking for a way to pay for the bail. He was not too sure he would have a big enough balance to get the three out. He had been saving up for a trip for a video game convention like E3. "God damnit guys!" Alex said.
