Sarah emerged from the store with a new iPod, which she eagerly unwrapped. Of course, there were no songs on it, so that didn't do her much good except to let her stare at it.
Se bought a soda and sat down and waited until the hour was up. 45 minutes later, Jon showed up.
"Look at this!" said Sarah, holding up the iPod.
"What? You bought something?" replied Jon.
"Of course I bought something," said Sarah. "Come over and see."
Jon sat down beside Sarah and looked at the device in her hands. He may or may not have been staring at her chest, but it didn't matter, because Sarah snatched the gun out of his hands. It was child's play.
"What?" said Jon.
"Now you sit here and behave until everyone shows up, or I give you the personality of a frog."
"WHAT? You can't do that. It's not possible!"
"If it wasn't possible, would I be doing it, Jon?"
"You're supposed to be a geek. Why would you be so hostile against...."
"Give me a break! I feel like explaining myself a lot more than I would normally, so it's your lucky day. Tell me, do you really think that there's some law in the world which says that every geek loves every other geek? Hang out in any Internet forum to see that that just isn't true. And I'll tell you something else. A lot of geeks want to become popular." She got up and ran back, then changed the setting to REVERSE and shot herself. Jon lunged at her, but of course, she had gotten up precisely so that wouldn't work.
Sarah kicked Jon with her right foot, which suddenly had a hard high heel on it again, and said one word: "FROG".
Jon paused, afraid. But Sarah didn't fire the gun at him. She had shot it at Meagan and Ashley, who were some distance away and now looked like their usual selves.
"And I'll tell you one other thing," continued Sarah. "Being a geek doesn't have much to do with being smart. If you're really smart you can like gadgets or chemistry without ignoring how you dress and act. Smart people can do more than one thing, instead of doing the chemistry okay and forgetting everything else. And you're one of the dumber geeks around."
"But in that case, how come you're smart enough to...."
"Think about it, loser."
