They entered the mall and walked to the food court.
"We're going to The Tech Stop," Sarah said, meaning her and Jay. "Anyone wanna come with?"
"No, we were thinking of going to the book store," Karyn said. "Right, Jon?"
"Yeah. What about you, Meagan?"
"Yeah, I've been thinking about getting a few books on chemistry," Meagan said.
"I didn't know you were into chemistry," Sarah said.
"Well, I wasn't before. But I am now." She couldn't explain it. She just liked chemistry. She supposed that she could have been considered a chemistry geek, while Jay and Sarah could have been labeled as tech geeks, and Jon was a computer geek. Karyn was a book worm. She read mostly non-fiction. So, even though the device was set on GEEK, there were many different kinds of geeks that they could have become.
"Okay, let's meet back here in one hour," Sarah said.
They agreed. But before they parted ways, Jay gave Jon the device. He was tired of carrying it around with him and he trusted Jon to keep it safe.
And to use it if he had to.
