Jon quietly eased into the library and looked around; as he suspected it would be the place was deserted at this time of day, so by walking further back into the shelves until he was out of sight, Jon finally felt able to relax.

Jon hadn't really been one of the popular crowd at school before this, and he'd put up with his share of bulling, but the continues harassment he'd suffered through since coming into school that morning had been almost unbearable. Jon knew it wasn't just a matter of him now being a "geek" that was the problem, it was that he was part of the group who had so inexplicable transformed, people always feared what they did not understand and it was making him and his friends prime targets.

However Jon was no helpless victim, he had both the limitless power of the Wishing Stone on his side and a Personality Manipulator that could turn all of his tormenters in to allies in an instants; the fact that unlike the overwhelming majority of kids who got picked on there really WAS something he could do to help himself made the abuse he suffered all day even more galling

Finally he'd got a chance slip away and DO something about it all, the Personality Manipulator was out of his reach but the Wishing Stone was right to hand.

Putting down his school bag, Jon reached inside for the hidden pocket, a pocket he'd wished into existence, and which could only be found by someone who ALREADY knew it existed; he'd even wished that no one would ever think to steal/take his bag from him; he'd thought about simply wishing that no one could take the stone, but dismissed the idea as he wasn't comfortable with the idea of he stone being used to effect itself.

Taking the stone in hand Jon thought what to do; he instinctively knew that using the stone directly to solve his problem was overkill, like using a nuke to kill a fly. A better option would be the Personality Manipulator that had changed him, and with the stone he could simply wish it here, or even create a new one, but Jon had something slightly different in mind

Holding the stone in one hand, he held his other hand out from his body "I wish, in my other hand, I was holding a compact hand gun that functioned exactly like the Personality Manipulator, except that it can only transform people into "geeks"" Feeling a small tingle in his hand, he looked over and saw he was now holding something that look a lot like a Phaser from the Original Star Trek series. Smiling Jon continued "Further I wish that because it's function is "limited" to one personality type, it's effect is amplified. Meaning that as well as people it can effect inanimate objects, making them more "geeky", and will not only transform all a persons cloths to match there new selves, but all there personal possessions as well."

Seeing the stone glow Jon nodded in satisfaction, then carefully hid the stone once more. That done Jon looked around for something to test the gun on. Looking through the selves he found what he considered the least "geeky" book he could possible imagine, a horribly written, totally inaccurate "historical" Romance, he also found a Teen Fashion magazine abandoned on a chair; placing both of these onto a table top, he aimed the gun and fired.

Pleased Jon heard the familiar high pitched tone, and watched as the Romances shifted in to a hardcore Science Fiction novel, and the magazine became a copy of the New Scientist; so engrossed was Jon that he didn't notice someone come up behind him until they cough loudly.

"Excuse me, but what EXCATLY do you thing you are doing" came a disapproving voice behind him.

Jumping into the air in shock with a girly shriek, Jon swung round and instinctively fired the gun, hitting the person behind him right between the eyes
