I chose that moment to uncloak myself. I gave him a disappointed look. He noticed right away and looked down in shame. "I'm glad we got here when we did. Bo looks like he's more than halfway there to making you Fall from grace for him." He looked back at me in fear. I then smiled and said "You passed your test. We are here to bring you back home." Analim looked confused before his turned his head in regret. "I wish it was that simple. Yong is getting ready to see his second child be born. He will be long lived and happy for decades more." he said. I place a hand on his shoulder. "The Powers do not want us on this plane. They said to terminate the exam and it is being taken to mean that you'll both be passed automatically." Recognition began to flicker in his eyes. "T-terminate? You can't mean-" he started to say before a loud alarm went off in the estate. I recloaked and followed him out the room. Analim was lead to the sight of Yong's pregnant wife weeping over his lifeless body. Yong's soul was fuming as he was trying to punch and kick at Nanael.

Nanael was dodging all the attacks to the best of his ability. Mydaiel was standing by. He looked pretty regretful as well. It was to be expected, honestly. While we each had a visceral bond to the triplet we were responsible for, their bond as brothers and watching them grow and live together was endearing to all of us. Even I had a soft spot for them. When he looked at Analim, he began to cry. Analim began to tear up as well and looked at his wife and led his wife out of the room. "I am so sorry for your loss. He was taken from us so soon." he said. She just sniffed and was led away by some of the nearby attendents. When the door was closed, Analim looked to him and held him close. Yong just cried and cried. Analim tried to be strong, but tears soon ran down his cheeks as well. After a few minutes, I told Analim to say the incantation. He did and we were taken to the same throneroom. She was still upset. Take Yong and bring him to his brothers. Analim come with me. He was given his wings as we watched. They were just as soft and powerful as ours.

One difference was that his were a light gray. Principality Karlel frowned at him. "Please reflect on your actions, Archangel Analim. Impurity can be seen by the color of your wings. Too dark and you may find that you may get a visit from others that won't be gentle with you." was all she said before she gave a curt nod to us. After that, she left and we went about our daily routine for a week. Analim became level 22 based on his mission. It was then that we were told that there would be a group of Principalities gathering in Ovavol. It was the district with the souls of the people who were landed farm owners. They were one step ahead of the peasant and serfs. Why they were going to gather was beyond us, but more than thirty archangels were traveling there from our district alone. It would be annoying if we missed out on our chance to take the exam because of a line. Luckily, the four of us had Nanael's wagon to ride in. I knew there was a reason to be friends with him. I told him to go as fast as he could. He nodded and we were off. It was faster than our last trip.

As we got there, I told them to follow me to the cathedral. We did not have time to go sight see. When we got inside, Analim pointed out Principality Arariel. We approached him and he blinked in recognition. "I do not believe it, and yet, here we are." I smiled and said "Thanks to you and Principality Karlel, we were able to advance. Especially due to that gift in the cathedral. We would be honored if you and Karlel would be in the panel for our exam. It would just be poetic that way." He looked at me with a raised nose to me. "I'm sure I don't get your meaning." he said coldly. "I just mean, we're so thankful for your patronage. I even heard that you were scolded. It would be a bad thing if even more details of this favoritism got out." He scoffed and said "I'm sure I now catch your drift... Archangel Dabriel. It just so happens that she is here as well. I also have a colleague that owes me a favor or two. I can ask him to join us. That should be more than enough for the exam." He then walked off with a disgusted look on his face. "What just happened?" Mydaiel asked me.
