Sarah McMillan awoke nearly at the same time as Biff. Her parents had already gotten dressed for the day and were about to leave to go to work. It would be a long commute to Pittsburgh and they wanted to get a head start on it.
Sarah decided to wear a white blouse and sweater this time, with a beige knee-length miniskirt, white knee socks and mary jane shoes. She looked in her mirror and deemed her appearance satisfactory.
She wanted to get an early start so that she could get to school on time. Before, she hadn't cared if she was tardy or not. But now, it was important to her that she'd be on time.
She decided to not drive to school anymore. She didn't like driving in her flashy convertible. So, she decided to just take the bus.
"Is that who I think it is?" a boy asked.
"It looks like Sarah McMillan, but it can't be," a girl said. "She looks like a geek."
Sarah walked up to the two of them. They were waiting for the bus to come and pick them up. "Hi, guys," she said, shyly.
The girl and boy looked at each other, clearly confused by what was going on.
