The next morning, Biff woke up. He was excited to go to school. He had been that way before, but it was because of his football buddies being there. Now he wanted to go because he found his classes to be both interesting and exciting. He loved doing homework now and looked forward to getting more.

But, the previous night, his father said that he wouldn't let Biff go. He said he wouldn't have his son going to school dressed like geeky wimp. He hoped that his father changed his mind.

After getting dressed, in a similar outfit to the one he wore the previous day, he walked downstairs. He could smell breakfast being made. He walked into the kitchen and saw his father at the table, reading a newspaper, and standing behind his father was his mother at the stove, her back turned from him.

Biff was really tired the previous night and when Jay came over, he told Biff that he didn't need to be around. Jay would just have a talk with his parents. He said he may not have even needed the device at all. He told Biff that he could just go to bed. So, he did.

"Can I go to school?" Biff asked.

His father put down his newspaper and Biff was surprised. His father was a geek! He wore a blue buttoned-up shirt with a bowtie, beige slacks, and thick glasses.

"Of course you can go, Biff," his father said, with a nasally voice, just like Biff. "I'm sorry about the way I treated you last night."

"It's okay Father."

"Still, though. I feel bad." He got up and walked over to Biff and put his hand on his shoulder. "You can be whatever you want, son. Of course, I'd rather you be a geek, like me."

"Oh, there you go again, Gary. Wanting Biff to be what you want him to be." Biff saw his mother and got another surprise. She was a geek too! Jay must have used the device on both of them. He wasn't mad, though. He was glad that his parents were like him. Now, they understood him.

His mother walked over to the table and put a plate of breakfast on the table in front of his father's chair. She wore no make-up and had her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She didn't have glasses on. She wore a white blouse under a sweater, and a long beige skirt.

"Okay, okay," Gary said back to her. Then he turned back to Biff. "Come on. You should eat breakfast before you go to school."

Biff smiled. "Okay."
