As Sarah entered The Tech Stop store, her eyes lit up. She had never been in the store before, mainly because she had no interest in such things. She went to the mall for fashion and usually nothing else. But now, she felt drawn to this place. And when she actually entered the store, she felt excited. She ran to the nearest gear that was on sale and found that she nearly drooled at the sight of it. It was a strange experience, but it made her feel good. She was fascinated by it all.
Jay saw her reaction and smiled. "You're so beautiful," he said out of the blue.
She turned towards him and blushed. She had never blushed before. She had always been beautiful. Well, actually, she was sexy. She had to be if she wanted to be popular. But, that part of her life was over and she was glad. She found that she enjoyed being a geek more than being popular or sexy. So, to hear someone say that she was beautiful seemed like a high compliment. She knew she wasn't sexy anymore. And she had no desire to be. But she still liked it that Jay complimented her in that way.
"Thanks," she said shyly, with a smile. She didn't find Jay very attractive, but for some reason she felt attracted to him anyway.
Jay smiled. He had never had a girlfriend before. And he thought that maybe Sarah could be his first one.
Of course, with the whole personality changing situation going on, Jay had forgotten that Sarah already had a boyfriend: Biff Meadows, captain of the football team. But, of course, maybe Biff wouldn't want Sarah as his girlfriend anymore, thanks to her "change".
