"Wait a minute," Jonnie realized. "Since when is my name 'Jonnie'?" While it made some sense that Karyn would refer to her that way, given that it was essentially a conversion of her originally masculine name into a more fitting feminine name for her current state and simply because it would have been confusing to say 'Jon' with two of them there, it was by no means official. That she was sent here at all, seemed to imply that 'Jonnie' had now become her name; however, that could be wished away.
She took a deep breath and then quickly spoke, "I wish that my name is 'Jon', and that I was only sent here because of an ARD glitch, and I'm not trapped here." Jon grinned as she knew her name changed. "I wish that I'm a boy," Jon said and then sighed with relief.
However, he was not the same as before the Replomat created him. His hair was brown, his eyes blue, and he was still the same height: a few inches shorter. "Hmm," he muttered. "I guess I can work on it." It did make sense to look a bit different if he was going to be around his original, though, and the stone was dangerous to mess with... He decided to stay this way for now.
He went to the closet but found it full of girls' clothes. "Right," he remembered. "This is female Jon's place." He frowned as he realized that if he left, her parents would have no one.
"I... wish this Jon owned a Replomat," he said after a moment's consideration. He glanced away involuntarily, and then saw the familiar white box inside the closet. "I wish this Replomat has no lock on creation of living creatures," he wished as he turned it on, and then made another wish, "I wish that the default Replomat settings on creating female humans are exactly female Jon's specifications, my age, knowing everything she knew before she died." That sounded thorough.
"Well," he said finally, "Replomat, make me a female human, default settings."
"Error," the Replomat said in a smooth male voice. "You do not have authorization."
Jon frowned, trying to figure out what he'd missed. "Why not?" he asked.
"This unit's master user does not allow guests to operate this unit," the machine replied. "Please consult master user for further information."
Oh, that was all. "I wish I had authorization," he wished, and then made the command once more.
The device whirred. Then he heard the sound of someone inside, trying to get out. He immediately reached for the door, but stopped as he realized he was still naked. "I wish I'm wearing boxers, jeans, and a T-shirt," he wished. Just in time, too, because female Jon then got the door open.
