Mr. Benson swayed into the room in a blouse, a skirt, and high heels. His face expertly made-up, a stylish necklace hanging from his neck, and from his head? A long mane of blond curls. That was something Jon really had to get used to in this universe - guys having long hair and girls having short hair. Fortunately for Jon, his own hair wasn't really long, just coming down to a few inches above his shoulders, so it wasn't different enough to be annoying. But most of the other guys he'd seen so far seemed to like having their hair down past their shoulders, like Biff and Steve, who had their hair in ponytails. Speaking of long hair, Jon recalled how Karyn's hair seemed to be short and back to its original redheaded color. It seemed that in this universe, she didn't make that wish for long blond hair and bigger boobs. Hold on ...

Jon just realized that there was no indication that he had the wishing stone in this universe. But that made sense, right? Maybe his grandfather never became an archeologist in this universe, since, you know, the gender roles were reversed. If he never became an archeologist, then he never would have found the wishing stone, and he never would have given it to Jon as his inheritance. But that was okay. After all, the wishing stone did exist back in the normal universe. All he needed to do was travel back there and get it. If he wanted to.

"Mr. Gibson," Mr. Benson said loudly, breaking Jon out of his thoughts.

"Uh, yes?" Jon said. He had to stop letting his mind wander like this.

"I said ..." the teacher began.
