"Sorry about Steve." Biff said as he pulled Jon towards his first class. Normally Jon would complain about this but Jon figured that his schedule might have changed since he normally didn't share a class with Biff first thing so he let Biff drag him along. Although he could have done with Biff slowing down a bit.
"You know how he is." Biff continued causing Jon to focus on their conversation. "It's just we know how much you had been looking forward to this."
"It's ok." Jon managed to say. "We just decided that we weren't ready for it despite what we've been saying." He said.
Biff nodded as they reached the classroom. Jon spotted the sign on the door that read "Home Economics." He sighed.
"I remember my first date with Sarah being like that." Biff told Jon as they entered the classroom and took their seats."
"Really!?" Jon asked. This surprised Jon. He had always seen Biff and Sarah bragging about their sex life and he wound never have imagined that there was any awkwardness between them.
"Uh huh." Biff nodded leaning towards Jon so that they wouldn't be over heard. "Sarah asked me out not long after we each made the squad. I was a little hesitant at first but the pressures of being on the cheerleading squad got to me and I said yes."
Jon nodded. He knew that there were certain expectations for being on the football squad, like having a good game and dating the cheerleaders but he hadn't realised that it would be same for the cheerleaders. Jon realised that Biff (or Sarah in his old reality) might have been rejected if he hadn't started dating Sarah.
"So I told Sarah that I wanted to take things slow and she agreed out of respect for me and my feelings but we knew what the rest of the squad would think if we told them that we hadn't done it so we lied." Biff explained.
"We didn't actually have sex until about our fourth date."
"Wow!" Jon said keeping his voice low. "I never knew that about you Biff." He told him.
Biff nodded. "No one does other than Sarah obviously. You're the first one that I've told because I understand your situation with Kar."
Jon felt a new feeling towards Biff, it was a feeling of respect and friendship towards something that Jon would never have felt in his old reality.
Jon was about to respond when their teacher arrived.
