Blaze did not take no for an answer and began grinding on him. Kenny pulled away and moved quickly away from them. His sisters arrived an hour later. He entertained them and they talked about their time in the Air Force. It was nice speaking to some of his siblings. Kenneth, Theo, Martin and Malcolm would appear on the day of the party. Blaze and Wendelin met them as well. Kenny supervised as they interacted. Blaze and Wendelin seemed to be infatuated with them. The sisters also picked up on it. When they left the room, Kim said "We hope to speak to you two more. Maybe we can talk tonight." She smirked as she shut the door behind them. Kenny looked at them and said "Don't even think of it. They are very used to sex. My sisters are all very dominant tops and have knots. They might be able to tell the difference between you and humans. You also can't bond with any of them. I mean it. Not in any circumstance." They nodded, but from the way they looked at the door, Kenny knew that he would have to keep a very watchful eye on them.
The next day, the party went on in full swing. The guests all arrived at various points in the day. Officially, he and Rose were the hosts of the party. His sisters also helped them. Martin and Malcolm came with their families. The party was at its height when the two dukes arrived. The manor itself did have a small parlor to dance in, but it was not large enough for everyone to inhabit comfortably. Instead, the party was held outside on the front and back yards. Kenny and Rose went around and made sure that the guests were enjoying themselves. He also gained some contacts from them. One of the highlights of the party was when Davie Davids addressed the party via a video chat. Another was when the two dukes joined the musicians for a piece that they had prepared beforehand. Blaze and Wendelin both came up to him to confirm they were going to commence their missions. Kenny gave them a small nod. They smiled back and went their separate ways. An hour later, a servant ran out in terror. It interrupted the party as he yelled and said "Help! M-master Crawston is dead!"
Everyone was shocked and many of the braver nobles rushed in the manor. Rose, Kenny and his siblings also rushed in. Gerald Crawston was shot through the heart and left in the dancing salon. He was slumped against the door with a look of absolute horror frozen on his face. Blaze had been with Kenny for the last ten minutes. He hoped it would be enough. Many of the men tried to shield Rose from the murder. She pushed them off and sneered. "I've seen much worse on the streets. Let me see it!" She and Jump looked down at the body in disdain. She hid her face behind a folding lace fan with roses of all colors on it. They were going to have to clean up the mess and pay for the burial after all. looked When Duke Bastion and Duke Felix saw the body they looked outraged. "Whoever did such a grisly murder will be pursued and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law." Bastion said. "I agree. An attack on a Drak house is attack on all of us. We will find the culprit and deal with them." The servant who found the body was questioned and he told them what he found.
It was a closed room murder. As he was walking passed the salon, he noticed the blood leak from under the door. He tried calling into the room and opening the door but it was no use. He did not have the key to the salon. As the only three keys to the room were on Rose, Jump and the master key in the room across from the kitchen. It was locked away in the room and only Rose and Jump had the key to that room. When the servant found another who could get to Jump, they all went to the salon together. Jump opened the salon and they saw the corpse. The windows were all locked. There was no way a human could have killed Gerald Crawston and escaped the salon. It was not a human who killed him. Blaze kept himself scarce. A detective came to the manor to investigate the murder. By that time, most of the nobles had left. No one wanted to stay in a home that a fresh murder took place in. The detective looked over the crime scene before talking to Rose and Kenny. They did not have much to share. They were dancing and socializing when the murder was reported. They gave the guest list.
