Finally! I thought as I flung myself onto my bed, wishing stone in hand. I can make some wishes. I tossed the stone between my hands a couple of times as I started to think of what exactly to wish for and then, once my mind was made up, I started to wish…
But then, an idea came to me. Since the wishes couldn’t be reversed, I would have to be careful with what I actually said; otherwise, I could end up with anything and that’s where the time limit came in.
With a time limit, I could make any wish that I wanted without having to worry about the consequences because, after a certain amount of time—that I would specify—the wish would be reversed and no one would remember the wish.
Smiling, I grasped the stone as I took a deep breath and began to make my wish.
