Joy had the stone back, and looked at Alan.
"So, what do we do now Joy?" Alan asked.
"Well, we should wish Karyn back... but first," she said.
Joy kissed Alan. "I have to do this!" she said, and kissed him again. "I think... I love you."
"I think I love you too," said Alan. "But it isn't right. We're both supposed to be guys. And besides, you look more like a guy in drag than a girl anyway. I wouldn't mind if you were more attractive, but we can't change the wish."
"It doesn't matter whether I'm like this! We both want it!" said Joy. "I know we do! I wish we were in my bedroom, naked."
After an hour of hot, sweaty, messy, sex, Joy and Alan just lay down beside each other. "I feel so embarrassed," said Alan. "This morning we were just guy friends. Now you're barely changed from being a guy friend, yet we're lovers. I guess only one of us could understand the other one..."
"I wonder what's changed at school," said Joy. "Everyone thinks I was always like this. Hey, maybe we're supposed to be boyfriend and girlfriend anyway." Joy thought, shook her masculine-faced head, and said "I don't know. My whole life could be completely different."
"As long as we don't tell anyone about us," said Alan, "everything should be fine. Let's see how tomorrow goes."
