With a final yell, a small creature exited the back side of the centaur. It was a centaur like creature. It had the yellow-blue heterochromia that Kenny had. It also had the white snake like tail that was where the normal tail of a horse would be. The fur of the centaur was orange. It tried to get up but faltered. Now that the threat to its integrity was excised, the centaur form of Orion began to reform. He panted and held his head. "Describe what the hell happened to you!" the scientist demanded. Orion took a moment to gather himself. "Normally, I could assimilate anything weaker than me and make me stronger as long as I had the mass for it. It felt like I was the one being consumed. I barely had the strength to take in one of them with the centaur form and it fought me all the way." He then split into two and both clones were about an inch shorter. Orion glared at the baby centaur and glared. "If I was at full strength I'd assimilate this one too. I mastered 4 trees!" "The kid might have 5 trees mastered if he inherited my skills." Kenny said. "That means the colt is a Switch. Its a wonder Orion is still alive."
Kenny went to the cell and had it open. The orange ooze of the third Orion clone flowed out. It looked like he could not reform himself yet. Kenny was wearing a hazmat suit and helped the colt up to its feet. He led the colt out of the cell. It tried to lap up more of the ooze, but Kenny lifted it up and carried it on a shoulder while the ooze stayed there. The centaur walked closer and absorbed the ooze. It bulked up like a war horse and said "It is going to be some time before I can split into three again. It really weakened us. I'm going to keep this form for awhile." Kenny nodded as he shut the door. He then let the colt down. The doctor and scientist both asked him some questions on the colt. Kenny answered before he let the colt roam around in front of the cells. "That puny thing was what almost took Orion out!?" Benny said in disbelief before breaking into laughter. "It's a Switch like us. I'd take it more seriously if I were you." Blaze said. Benny growled and said "Let it in here. If Orion can't take it out, I'll do it." "And assimilate all of its abilities into yourself!? No one's that dumb." Kenny said.
Benny pressed himself against the glass. Kenny knew that he did not want to raise this centaur. He did want to give it to someone who would benefit him. "Do you want to try it, Blaze? You might need to be careful. No one is a better candidate than you, but I don't know about him." Blaze licked his lips and said "I'll take it, Kenny. Send him in." Benny roared in anger as he banged hard on the glass. Kenny opened the cell and pushed him in. Blaze immediately liquefied. The colt came over slowly and leaned over to try and eat it. Blaze surged and the light brown ooze covered the colt. It thrashed and cried as it tried to buck the symbiote off. It took him 10 minutes, but the colt was no more. Blaze laid on the floor with ooze leaking from under him. "He put up a good fight." Kenny had an idea, but it had to wait. He requested a herd of horses be brought to the facility. Kenny smiled when it came a few days later. Kenny got Blaze out of his cell and took him to a mare and handler. He was able to cover and assimilate them easily. He now had the adult form of the colt and mass to split into three.
