Jon thought for a time, thinking about how to safely change Karyn so that she'd be his friend. But then a thought occurred to him. If he could just wish that Karyn was his friend, then couldn't he just wish that Sarah was too, even if she wasn't in the "original" reality? It would be a huge improvement for her, in his opinion, thinking that she wouldn't be a bitch anymore. So, after thinking about it some more, Jon said "I wish Karyn and Sarah McMillan were best friends with us." Jon smiled, thinking he did a good thing.
"Jon, you forgot to make sure I stay the same," Alan said quickly.
As the stone glowed, Jon's smile faltered.
