On his way to the McMillan house, Jon called his best friend Alan. They had been friends for years (in this reality) and he also knew about the stone.
"Hey, Alan."
"Jon. What's up?"
"Just going to get my stone back."
"You lost it?"
"I know who has it. I'll get it back."
"Okay, who has it?"
"Karyn McMillan."
"How did that bitch get the stone?" Alan asked.
"I don't know. But when I got home, I saw her name on that dream machine device. Which means that I used it on her."
"Why would you do that?"
"I know this is gonna sound strange, but maybe she was my friend."
"That doesn't sound strange, it sounds ludicrous. How could you be friends with someone like her?"
"The stone might have changed her personality or something. Remember that if you don't hear the wish, you don't remember what it was like before the wish was made."
"Okay, fine. There's a possibility. What are you gonna do when you get the stone back? Try to change her back? Wishes aren't reversable, Jon. Remember?"
"I'll think of something. Anyway, I just wanted to know if you'd like to help me get it back."
There was a pause. "I'll be there in ten minutes."
"Thanks, Alan."
"No problem," Alan answered, and disconnected.
Jon continued his walk towards Karyn and Sarah's house.
