After a time, Jon gave up and went home. When he entered his bedroom, he noticed the dream machine device that he had conjured up with the stone.
He picked it up and saw Karyn's name on it.
"Why is that bitch's name on there?" Jon asked aloud. Then something occured to him, once he saw the description of her nightmare on the screen: Anyone who doesn't hear the wish made gets their memories changed to fit the new reality. He saw the flash of light coming from the window. But he didn't hear the wish made.
Could it be that Karyn McMillan was really Jon's friend? He couldn't even imagine that. But if it were true, she'd be a lot better off as a nice girl instead of a slutty bitch, which is what she was.
Now that he had an idea of who had his stone, he set off to the McMillan house to get it back.
