Kenny was proud of his placement in the Wendalian Royal Army. He was surprised when he was called to Mount Aka Oni. He was to take over the security detail for an experimental facility. He was going to do everything he could to make it a success with his full attention. He made his way over there after the sending off ceremony for his father and certain siblings. He was going to miss them, but he did not want to go to the new continent. They received him and gave him a tour of the facility. There were five main labs and several secret labs in the facility. The head scientist and head doctor were both Nulls, which was very uncommon for the Army. Kenny was given a full access key. With it, he could get to the secret parts of the facility and the various escape points. He was in command of a company of men and women. They were to exercise drills as well as secure the building. It was a very fulfilling job, but everything was classified to the point that he could not talk to anyone about anything he was doing. Not even his own family members could know it.
There was a infirmary, Pharmacology lab, Technology lab, Engineering lab, Biology lab and a Physics lab. They were all the visible operations of the facility. The secret dealings were literally underground. Basement 1 Lab was for developing chemical weapons of mass destruction. Basement 2 Lab was a holding pen for child super soldiers and assassins injected with a super serum. They were all Muros kidnapped from the nearby tribes and Drak orphans no one would miss. Basement 3 Lab was where the atomic research was done. Pocket sized nukes were not too far off. It was all for the betterment of the kingdom. Wendalia wanted to have the advantage in all the theaters of war and some insurance policies. The most secure part of the facility was certainly Basement 4 Lab. It did not even appear in the initial blueprints of the facility. Every week, there was a security protocol where the head of security, head scientist and head doctor all had to use their master keys at the same time to enter the lab. That was where there were symbiotes were being developed.
Basement 4 Lab's symbiotes were oozes of varying colors. They had certain abilities and had the power to take human shape and communicate. There were 12 in total it seemed. Bonding to human hosts was a prime feature all of them shared. As Kenny talked to them he learned their names and powers. They were documented on a clipboard:

Speaking with them, he realized that the Switches were very aggressive and more pushy the more powerful they were. Kenny was unsure what the "trees" referred to but he understood Alpha and Omega. They were all given names by the head doctor. The head scientist had no time for cooing at them or coddling them. He was interesting on getting them ready and operational for release on enemies.
