Jon decided that maybe keeping Karyn like this wasn't a good idea. He bent down and grabbed the device. But it was broken! It must have done it when it hit the floor.
Jon didn't have the stone with him. He only brought the merger with him to school. The stone was the only way he could fix this. He had to make sure that Sharon stayed with him until he got the stone back.
