"Th-tanks, Rick", stuttered Jon who was still trying make sense of everything that happened. Leonard made him wear Allie Swenson's clothes, then he gave him her knowledge and muscle memory of shoes and finally he swapped him into her life. How could he get out of this situation?
"Say Allie, you want to get something to eat later? I know this nice restaurant downtown", asked Rick with the most seductive smile he had. Jon was more disgusted by that though, still being a straight male.
"I'm sorry, Rick", he quickly replied. "I've got another appointment I've got to attend to."
Jon quickly stood up from his seat and gazed around, looking for the studio's exit. At first, he was still blinded by the bright flashlights, but they were turned off moments after he stood up. When his eyes adjusted to his now darker environment, he could make out a door that seemed to lead backstage and quickly walked up to it, somewhat relieved that he was able to walk in Allie's shoes.
"I've gotta get outta here", thought Jon as he walked through the door into a long corridor. "I've got to get back to Leonard and fix this!"
Luckily, he had been swapped into the life of a local news anchor. That meant getting back to Leonard was somewhat manageable. Unfortunately, the news station was on the other end of town, making it impossible to get back to Leonard by foot, especially considering Jon's new footwear.
"Allie, where are you going?", Jon suddenly heard a female voice say. He turned around to see a small, slightly chubby, black haired woman in a black skirt suit. "You're dressing room is in the other direction."
Jon blinked a few times at the woman, quickly thinking how to response. "Right. Sorry. I got confused for a second", he said, not wanting to get Miss Swenson into too much trouble. Besides, he figured that his best way getting back to get a ride and his current get up obviously had no room for keys or money. His best bet was that Allie Swenson had her car keys in her dressing room or at the very least money, if she did not possess a car. "Would you mind showing me the way?"
The woman raised an eyebrow but then shrugged her shoulder and turned on her heels and silently went ahead. Jon was thankful that she just showed him the way. He thanked her again and quickly entered the room when they arrived.
It was a small room, with a big make-up table, complete with a big mirror on the wall. This was the first time he could get a good look at himself and how ridiculous he looked in Allie's clothes. The dress would show off feminine curves wonderfully, but as he did not possess any, it just clung tight to his body. The make-up on his face, especially the lipstick and the fake eyelashes, made him look like a drag-queen.
"Leonard will pay for this", he muttered and began searching the room for a purse, keys or money.
