Kenneth and Theo were among the crowd when the fleet of ships were leaving for the new continent. While Kenneth had a faux hawk hairstyle, Theo had an undercut ponytail. After the party was finished, they were taken to a third rate entertainment agency. It did not look like much. When they got there, a middle aged Drak was waiting for them in the lobby.
"Hello. We have been waiting for you. Send your father our regards for his patronage and entrusting two of his sons to us. My name is Jeff and I will be your manager." He shook hands with both brothers. They smiled at him as their singing career was officially happening.
"Your father told us that you wanted to be vocalists. Is that right?" he asked with a smile. "
Yeah, we want to sing." Kenneth said with a smile on his face.
"We're going to be the best of the best!" Theo said enthusiastically. Jeff smiled and nodded.
"That's the spirit. Let's get in the booth. I want to see how well you guys can do solo and as a duet." he said.
They nodded and followed him throughout the doors behind the receptionist's desk. At the end of the hall was a stairwell. On the third floor was a recording booth. Their was already a pair of people on the other side of the glass. Jeff's voice boomed into the room with the mic.
"Alright. Let's start with Kenneth this time. Sing the national anthem. A good effort from you please." he requested.
Kenneth nodded and began singing into the microphone. After that, it was Theo's turn. When he was finished, they sung together in harmony. Jeff was watching them closely as they sung.
"You like what you see, Jeff?" one of them said as they cut off the sound of their conversation from the siblings.
"They can sing moderately well and can carry a tune, at least." Jeff said with a shrug.
"Are you going to send them down for some development?" the other said.
"Hell no. We have the backing of Count Davids. His donation alone made up for the prospective loss for the last two years. He even said that this is just some childish dream of his bastard kids. I can even make them background members of a group if I want. His direct words." Jeff said.
"I get it. As long as they are out their in the public we can get backing. You have a group for them?" the mixer said.
"I do." Jeff smiled.
Theo was waiting in the booth and said "We're going to use our powers, right?"
Kenneth nodded. "Travis used his and he was top of the class. Father even hand picked him to go to the new continent with him. If we don't use them here, when will we use them?" he said.
They smiled at each other and waited for their next instructions. Jeff entered the room and said "Good job. The second floor has dance studios and a lounge. I will bring you there right now. Wait and I will show you to your bandmates."
They nodded and followed him. They winded up waiting for half an hour before Jeff came in with three people. They were all around Kenneth and Theo's age. There was a Drak male and female as well as a Loko male.
"These are your band mates. The Loko is named Sam and the Draks are Jack and Lisa. We are planning for you to be a new band and all we need from you two are a name and genre for this band." The new band mates said hi and introduced themselves. They were in development until now. Jack was on drums, Lisa played bass and Sam was on guitar. Kenneth already had a name in mind.
"Let's go with Hypno Tails. Based on the tails we have and that we are going to put people in a trance." he said. Jeff smiled and clapped. He seemed to really agree with the name. Seeing that it already had broad approval, everyone else decided to go with it as well. Jack and Lisa shrugged as they sat down together. Sam was looking intently at Kenneth and Theo. They were very unique people for Wendalia. The brothers just nodded at them and waited for another idea to be presented.
