My last day preparations was spent on the ship getting everything ready. I was making sure we had enough fuel and food to get there like I did last time. Suzie, Finn and Dusty visited me and I talked to them for a few hours, all while we explored the light cruiser. I never once got bored exploring the larger ships. I personally could spend days exploring them. He did not bring up his confession and I did not touch on it either. Instead I found out that both Finn and Dusty were ready to get married. Dusty was going to propose to Claude. "He's a good enough guy and we work well in the mechas." Dusty said with a shrug when we asked why. Finn looked away from me as he said he had eyes on Alphonse. He looked unsure of himself for a moment before saying "We got to talking and we have a lot in common." They eventually left me alone and I went to bed. I wanted to be especially bright eyed and busy tailed for the second trip to the new world. Even I had not been to the mainland. When I woke up that morning, I helped prepare my kids for the trip.
We boarded the ship and saluted the crew. They saluted back. I went to the the bridge before going to the deck. It was like a festival as all the civilains around the base wanted to see the large fleet of ships off. There was a large crowd of people. Even the royal family was there so see us leave. All my children that were staying in Wendalia were there along with Rose, Swift and Jump. They were waving vigorously loke the rest of the crowd. We set off to sail the river right after that. We passed through the other countries until we got to Yejolli. Other ships were following us from the other naval bases. It was a pretty large fleet as all of the leaders with access to the ocean were given the same amount of ships. There were five isalnds and three coastal counties. I had one. So did Suzie and Duke Felix's son. The inspection was taking quite a while. It was mostly due to the sheer number of ships coming through. It did make me curious though. I asked the captain of the light cruiser what we would do if they tried tracking us again. It had already happened once.
He chuckled evilly and said "We have a set of countermeasures for that. Not only do we have cloaking technology that can disrupt the signals of foreign bugs placed on the ship, but we also have a virus that will worm its way into their systems if they try to interfere with us digitally. It will show those fools what happens when you mess with Wendalia." I nodded in full agreement. We were not people to be fucked with. The trip took a full week before we saw the first glimpses of land. Before the coast was not a blockade made of wooden ships. It was just clear sky and pure blue water. We slowly approached and waited in deep enough waters. Allowing the rafts to take the correct personnel to the island and come back took time. We then left the ships for the island. Fin and Dust came to me again to hear about what type of people lived on the islands. I gave them as much detail as I could so that they could be successful. We repeated the process four more times over the course of two days. Our fleet was much smaller as we made our way to the mainland.
