Suddenly Jon realized he had messed up. Not with the robots--if he realized that, this would be a much shorter story--but with the wish range. The wish only had a limited range!
"I wish that whenever I make a wish that affects the whole world, the stone would disappear, reappear a fraction of a second later near the end of the wish range, affect the new area, and keep doing so until it affected the whole world one piece at a time, and then return to me. I also wish my last wish about robots does this."
The stone seemed to vanish and reappear. Jon barely noticed it, but in the many trillionths of a second, the stone had travelled around the world and actually done what he had tried to do before when he forgot about the wish range....
Jon noticed one place downstairs where he had left some DVDs. They were the original Gundam series, but somehow they had changed. He was now the proud owner of a full set of Slayers. Not that Slayers was a bad series, but why had... oh, he knew now! If giant robots were real, then they wouldn't make animation about them, right? His animation must be something else.
