As they moved down the long entry way to the door, Sarah grabbed Karyn's arm. "Look!"
Karyn looked where the blonde pointed and saw something on a cracked wall mirror. Like before, words had been etched into the dust.
AND THEN KARYN AND SARA BECAME A GIRL
"But that doesn't make sense," Karyn muttered. "We're already girls."
She had little time to figure out the message's meaning. Without further warning, she felt a tug in her body that yanked her off her feet. She found herself stumbling into Sarah, who had been simultaneously jolted in her direction. As they collided, their clothing disintegrated. Once the fabric was out of the way and their skin touched, their bodies melted together. Both girls let out a scream that only lasted a split second before their faces met and their cries were cut off.
Soon, a flesh colored blob hung in midair, coalescing into a single human figure. The form writhed as pleasing curves became apparent and bountiful breasts pushed out. More details followed, concluded by the fall of long blonde hair that reached the new body's soft rear. Then, the form solidified, and the latest girl gasped as she collapsed to the floor. She had the best traits of both Karyn and Sarah, from the cheerleader's long legs to Karyn's bright green eyes.
Inside her head, two minds panicked.
What happened to us? Us? Who are we? Sarah? Karyn? Oh, our head hurts! The girl gripped her throbbing skull and moaned in agony.
