"That's right!" said Jon. "We're teenagers and we just need some cosmetic changes to become adults in a few years--but Mikey's twelve. It would be bad for him to look like an adult when he isn't, so until he gets to be our age he gets transferred to new older-looking bodies every year. In fact, his next body change is tomorrow, but the trouble is, his new body is a female type."

"Yeah," said Karyn, bringing up her new memories. "And Mikey has been coming to me for advice on how to deal with the new body he'll have for the next six months."

"Really?" said Jon, "I don't remember that tidbit. All I remember is that mom told me about the change he has to have because their young male teen model is too old for him. Basically, she told me that Mikey will be an unobvious 'late bloomer' this way. But I didn't know he was seeking your help."

Karyn bit her lip. "Well, he was embarrased about it and said he didn't know if you knew or not. So he wanted to keep it a secret from everyone he could. He said his dad was making cosmetic changes so that he can be a very convincing boy, but he will still be female where it counts."

"Hmm... Wait a minute. Does it matter if we are cyborgs? I mean, do we really distinguish gender more than with physical looks?" asked Jon, thinking out loud.
