We had been out numbered 4 to 3. That was no matter. "We will kill them all when night falls." I said. The king said "No! It's against our religion to harm others under the pure light of our goddess. We will not offer you any aid if you do that." I sucked my teeth and I shrugged. "I will destroy them in the morning. But if they reinforce and attack today or tonight, I will repel them for you. In the meantime, I will bring most of my men in the city. The king nodded and allowed us to come and go. I made sure that there was ten men left on the ship. 5 gunners and 5 Battle mecha pilots were there to protect it from an attack. I had the map in my menu so there was no need to go out prematurely. I knew where they were and there was no way they could hide from us. The rest of us went to the city where we were lodged in the inns in the city. I was surprised they had the inns so far out of the way. Since it was a nice day out and I always wanted to explore the types of streets this type of city, provided I went around with Martin. We had a lot of fun.
There was a lot of hustle and bustle in the streets. I asked a pedestrian on the street about it. The man smiled and said "Tonight is the full moon! We always get together to pray and dance under our goddess's protection and light." I nodded and looked around to gather my men. There were 30 men and 10 women. I told them to go and dance with the Istolin if they were invited. "We have to make sure we win the hearts and minds of the natives. It makes the colonization much easier if they actually like us." I explained. They shrugged as if they did not really care. "Keep on your toes men. No drinking. No fighting. No arguing. We are stronger, but we need to makes sure we are not caught off guard by anyone." I added before I dismissed them for the day. I radioed into the ship and gave them the day off, providing that they kept watch on the horizion every few hours. I did not think they would be appearing tonight, but I wanted to have some warning if they did. I idled around until the ceremony began. They gathered in the city center to pray to the moon.
After that, they danced the night away. I was asked to dance by some of the children. I nodded and they taught me how to do the dance. From there, it was just a simple minigame like for the waltz, swing, and foxtrot. I was able to do well enough with it. The children laughed and giggled. I also let them play with Martin for a bit with my supervision. I also saw people from my crew also dancing in the streets. I went back to the inn I was staying in to go to bed. I set Martin down in a craddle. After that. I was free to spread out on the firm bed with soft sheets. It was nice until I realized that these "inns" were actually the brothels of the city. I found out for myself when a half naked young man and woman Istolin crawled into my bed with me. Since the Istolin men were femboys, it was hard to tell which one was which until they were fully undressed in front of me.
