Back at Hobson Co., as Karyn now knew it was called, things were finally beginning to be in some semblance of order. After talking to Marcie, Karyn had tried to act confidently as she could and collected all the members of the office into the conference room. It turned out that the particular office she was in was a relatively small team of marketing specialists for a much larger company. Several employees had already run off, but Karyn had managed to collect the seven who had been in the conference room as well as 12 others. Karyn would later learn that nine members of the office staff were unaccounted for. After going around the room, it was learned that everyone except the older man (who Karyn learned was named Barry Sanford) had been swapped, some with other members of the office, others from somewhere else. Karyn worked hard to calm the misplaced men and women, particularly the three children who had been shifted into office worker's bodies. It was decided that everyone would attempt to go to their real homes, once information about who their bodies were and who their minds were were shared with everyone so they could be tracked down to switch back later. Marcie and Barry volunteered to take the children home. Karyn sighed as she walked into the parking garage to find her Alicia's car. Her feet hurt from the heels and sudden addition of age. Using the car's remote entry, Karyn found the Honda Accord and pulled out of the garage. Fighting gridlocked traffic, Karyn managed to work her way home. When she arrived, she ran inside to check on her single mother and her old body. Opening the door, Karyn found a heavy set man crying quietly into his hands. Karyn's old body was crawling around on the floor completely naked and the body of Betty Scott, Karyn's mother, was absently cupping its breasts as it watched Ben 10 on TV. Not sure what to expect, Karyn hesitantly said, "Mom...?"
