Kelly tried her best to walk towards Chris' table, but it was almost impossible to walk in the high heels. She nearly fell over twice on the way there.
"Chris," she said, winded.
He looked up at her and took in the vision he saw before him. "Uh ... yeah?" he asked, getting a little flustered.
"Sorry I'm late. I was just doing a little shopping," she said, not going into detail about it. She didn't want him to know about his birthday gift.
"Um ... who are you?" he asked.
Kelly was confused. But then she realized that it must have been because of the outfit she was wearing that made him not recognize her. How did her clothes change like that anyway? As much as she wanted to figure that out, though, her mind seemed to drift back to Chris and him not recognizing her.
"It's me. Kelly."
"I'm sorry. I don't know you." He paused. "And I'm not sure you know me. Maybe you have me confused with someone else," he said, forgetting that she specifically called him Chris. "You're really hot and all, but if you stay around any longer, you're gonna piss off my girlfriend. She's meeting me here in a few minutes."
"But ... I'm your girlfriend," Kelly said, shocked at his words.
"Yeah, I wish. But it's common knowledge that girls like you are only interested in jocks and frat boys. A geek like me doesn't have a chance." He looked out the window. "Oh, here she comes now."
Kelly turned and looked. It was Susan Feldman. She couldn't believe that Chris was still dating her. Susan was Chris' girlfriend before Kelly. He told her that he dumped Susan because she was so controlling.
"Can you please leave?" Chris asked.
Kelly wasn't sure what to do. She was experiencing a mind-bending experience. First her clothes change into something completely promiscuous and then her own boyfriend doesn't even know her? And to top it off, he was still dating Susan?
