Kelly walked into the coffee shop and spotted Chris right away. She waved to him and smiled.
And then the changes began. Her jeans got shorter and shorter until they were the size of hot pants, then the material changed from blue denim to silver lycra. Next, her baggy gray sweatshirt shrank and then got ripped down the middle, then eventually merged with the lycra hot pants, turning the whole thing into a one-piece silver lycra V-front romper. Kelly wouldn't be caught dead in such a thing. Andrea was the party girl, not her.
She took one step towards Chris' table, when suddenly her shoes changed. Whatever was happening to her wasn't done. Her sneakers turned into a pair of strappy silver 5-inch stiletto heels. And then a bunch of bangle bracelets appeared on each of her wrists.
What was happening to her? How was any of this possible?
