Of course, it was Jon's wish to have something interesting happen, so of course the magic steered Tiffany in his general direction. She saw him out of the corner of her eye as she passed his locker in the hallway, and that's when she made her decision. Today, she was going to conquer Jonathan Malachi Gibson.
Tiffany turned on her heel, and made her way over to Jon, ignoring his blonde friend at the next locker over. "Meet me behind the cafeteria at lunch," she whispered over his shoulder.
Jon blinked. Turned around. "Tiffany?"
She smirked. He was off-balance. Suggestible. "I said meet me behind the cafeteria at lunch. There's something I want to show you."
"O-okay." Jon wasn't sure what else to say.
"Great," Tiffany winked, "I'll see you there." And with a quick peck on Jon's cheek, Tiffany disappeared into the crowd of students.
Jon stared after her, the gears in his head turning. Was this the interesting thing?

"Ow!" Jon turned to Karyn. "What did you do that for?"
"Jon Gibson, you are a jerk." On some other day, Karyn may have been more forgiving. But she was already unhappy with him. She slammed her locker shut, and made her own way down the hall.
Jon didn't know what he'd done wrong.
But a little ways down the hall, Steve Farber's attention was drawn by the sound of a locker slamming. Who was that? Karyn Black? He weaved through the crowd to get to her: he'd found his target.
"Hey," Steve sidled up beside her.
"Steve?"
"Meet me behind the locker rooms during lunch."
Normally Karyn would have blown off someone like Steve. But she was still mad at Jon. How could he make such a stupid wish? How could he agree to meeting alone with a bimbo like Tiffany? Didn't he know...
Well, Karyn would show Jon. If he was going to go off with Tiffany, then she'd go off with Steve.
"Yes. Okay. I'll see you then." And she headed off to class.
That had been a lot easier than Steve was expecting.
