I like to think I always have a plan.
First off, we'll clear up the summit issue. It's quite easy... not all the gods are around to make it work- among other reasons I can think up... work in progress.
second, trying to sort out why they can't talk to Artemis's parents... working on that now. It's a surprise.
Third, bruised ego... working on something suitably more epic then simply becoming king of man. (yes, really) On that note, this is one of the main issues of having an author avatar. I put a little bit of myself in my characters, but they are not me... this lets me explore actions that I would never do. It is harder, but it has reward in it. Please be cautious on being emotionally invested in your character on such a personal level... especially in a robin round like this. (Yes ironic, I do feel emotionally invested too sometimes... I have a love for all my characters)
Fourth on the rule... seems reasonable, but you have to understand that sometime these things can happen. if you recall we were willing to go re-do everything from the purifiers saga, but I felt it would be just too much work to do so let it go. To move on to other things, and to maintain the flow of the story. I wasn't happy with it, but one does move on.
We can't know that a story's overall premise wont work just based on the start...
