It was a full in-game hour, but when he stopped trembling, he balled his fists and stood up. I thought the ears were similar to how they were before Tybalt fell. Tears were still coming from his closed eyes. "I did it! I beat that master!" he said as he slowly opened his eyes. He still had the dark blue eye and the ears were the same. We looked at him in awe. None of us could believe it. I asked if he could transform. He looked at me as if I were the craziest person alive for asking. "After that hell I just suffered!? It would be a miracle if I ever leave a humanoid shape after this" he snapped. I rolled my eyes. I understood where he was coming from. "Fine. You can stay if you want" I said. He nodded happily. I turned to the other two and said "Turn back into bird so I can you sneak you in". Reiner and Elis nodded and transformed. Elis was on my shoulder while Reiner rested on Tybalt's head. It was good enough and we went to the guards. I had my papers and I vouched for Tybalt. I had to slide the guards a small bribe, but it was enough to let us in.

We walked to the nearest alley so Reiner and Elis could turn human again. "So we can even absorb Masters now. You better watch out Azil!" Reiner said with a smirk. I nodded. This was definitely not supposed to be apart of the game. It probably caused complications for the player. I shrugged and found an inn for him to stay in. When I gave the inn keeper enough for three days, I waved. I found an inn that served 'taurs and I went in. This inn was high class and had a bath and a small music hall. It was much more expensive, but I had the money to spend. Reiner and Elis were still on my shoulders as I was taken to my room. It was spacious and I thought it was really a great place to stay. Reiner and Elis turned human to look around the room. "So what are we going to do now?" Elis asked. I shrugged my shoulders. I looked at them and said "I helped you out by reuniting you. I even got you back into the city. As long as you three lay low and keep changing your appearances every so often, you'll be safe here". If they could, that is.

The plan was to log out as soon as I got the three chimeras settled into the city. I looked at Reiner and Elis as they sat on the bed. Seeing them so carefree when it was past the time I wanted to be done playing made me frown. I wanted to log off and probably go to sleep in my own bed. "You two need to go now. I want to go to bed and I don't need you two hovering over me" I said. They looked a bit insulted before they got up. Reiner said "If that's how you really feel, we'll find somewhere else to sleep tonight". I watched them reach the door before I reached out for them. "I'll help you three find a permanent place in the morning. But you really have to let me go to sleep right now. I'm useless when I'm tired". Reiner smirked and said "Fine. Get all the sleep you need, Master. You're way too useful for us to just let you go anyway. You better get ready. We're evolving to the point where we can even keep Masters absorbed now. You better not even think of betraying us". "He wouldn't. He's not like the others" Elis added before they left him by himself in the room.
