"How much?" Haley asked.
Jon smiled. "For you, it's on the house. Of course, it's only one drop. Hardly enough reason to make you pay for it. Unless ... you'd rather have the whole vial."
"No, just the drop." But was this what she really wanted? After some thought, she decided that she didn't. "Wait," she said. "Is there, uh, anything else that could help?"
She thought that he would be angry at her for not wanting to use the "potion", but instead he flashed a pleasant smile. "Of course. There are many things that could help. This is only but one of them," he said, gesturing towards the vial. "Tell me exactly what you want and I'm sure I can find what you need."
"Um ... okay," Haley said. "The terms of our agreement are fine, but I want to be able to change back to how I was before. I want to know that I can become Jake again. I don't want Jake to be gone forever."
Jon smiled. "Then I have just the thing for you. Follow me."
