Jon felt that same tingling sensation he had felt the night before and felt compelled to look away from Sarah for just a moment. Before long however, he was able to turn back, and practically fell over laughing at what he saw.

Where once had stood a rather attractive 16 year old girl now stood, quiet literally, the stereotypical witch. Her skin was colored with a tinge of green, while her nose was a like a stalagtite sticking straight out from her face. Her face had a couple of warts over it with more than a few hairs sticking out of them, and she had a severe overbite with yellowsih buckteeth sticking out of her mouth. Her once pristine blonde hair was now stringy, dark, and hung together in clumps with a couple of small bald spots here and there. Sarah was now a hunchback, lurched over with a pronounced protrusion on her back. Topping it off, her designer clothes had been replaced with barely fitting hand-me down rags that strained against said hump.

Jon composed himself, barely, as he stared at the sight in front of him. A gasp from beside him clued him in. Karyn had made the wish, therefore she would know what just had happened. And after he had just made her forget about the stone too.

"Wha...how....what just happened?" Karyn managed to stammer out. She stared at Jon, and looked to him for answers.

"What do you mean," Jon answered back, playing it cool.

"I mean to Sarah. What just happened to her?"

"Nothing," Jon said, looking over her as she hobbled off to class. "Did she get a new wart?"

"Look..." Karyn forcefully said, "I've known Sarah MacMillan for years, and even though she's always been a witch she's never looked like one!"

"What are you talking about," Jon defensively answered, "She's always looked like that. I just wish you'd remember it that way."

Karyn was about to answer back, when her eyes glazed over for a moment and she lost her train of thought. She was about to say something.....come to think of it she couldn't even remember what she was arguing about in the first place. Shrugging it off, she grabbed her books and followed Jon to class.

For his part, Jon breathed a sigh of relief. It was better if no one knew anything about the stone. As he walked off however, he failed to notice the shadowy figure in the corner who had overheard Karyn's wish, and seen everything.

Later on Jon was walking by himself, on his way to gym class. As he passed by the girls locker room, he thought to himself of the fun he could get into. Knowing that he could always reverse the wish if need be, he spoke quietly to himself, "I wish that I was invisible and that no one could hear my voice but myself." In a short flash he felt the tingling sensation again, and then felt normal. As Karyn walked by, Jon tried to call out to her, but she ignored him as if he wasn't there.

"Great," Jon said smiling. As he strolled in after Karyn into the girl's locker room, he wondered exactly how he could have some fun with this situation.....
