So Jon did something impulsive. He grabbed Santa's stone and threw it out into the hallway, then he made a wish, knowing that since Santa didn't have his stone in his possession, the wish would be fulfilled, and not canceled or redirected.
"I wish ..." Jon began, not caring if throwing away Santa's stone would get him on the Naughty List.
