- I will not wish for eternal life unless I'm pretty sure I can either find something to do with all that time in my hands or that I can wish my way out of it when I'm finally jaded enough.

- If, attempting to fix a wish, I make it worse, I'll wish up some spare time to think about how to fix it, rather than adding another poorly-thought wish to the collection.

- While random things happenning may be exciting, them happening for a random period of time that may include "forever" isn't.

- I will not lend the stone to people I regard as evil, dumb or both just because they asked nicely.

- That goes double for people that are evil AND megalomaniacs.

- I will make sure to check out exactly who had the stone before and how did they lose it. That way I'll be able to understand why is it that Adolph Hitler looks so youthful and is attacking me after 60 years being thought dead, and, presumably, be able to prepare myself.

- While I hold the key to omnipotence with the stone, I'll remember that it takes less time to fire a gun at my head than to say the word "omnipotence". Bearing that in mind, I'll make sure to make myself able to prevent such damage BEFORE it happens.

- I will not prevent said damage by wishing for invulnerability. Being a statue of adamantium is not fun, and, even if I included moving in my wish, it would be pretty ironic if I died on a surgery table because the doctors can't open me up to take care of the apendicitis.

- I will not turn into a sadistic psychopath just because I can; people eternally having babies or turning female can attract undue outside attention, and omnipotence makes you shy.

- Just in case I ever do attract undue attention, wishing every once in a while for people to forget about the stone is a pretty good idea, as long as I keep myself and those I WANT to know about the stone knowing about it.

- I will not hide the stone in the same place I hide my porn stash. The reasons for that include a propensity for making transformational or inconvenient wishes around said stash, and the possibility that anyone searching those magazines might find the stone and accidentally make a wish on it.

- Within that line of thought, I'll remember that no space for the stone is as good as a dimensional space from which I can pull the stone at a moment's notice.

- I will not include in the stone any clause of other people agreeing with a wish to make it work; I am able to control myself, and, in case the other person died in an accident or was killed, the stone would become useless, barring me finding a way to ressurrect the person WITHOUT it.

- Through wishing, I will include in my idiolect the trait of never saying "I wish" without thinking or meaning it, unless I say it in a play and without the stone around. Same goes for whoever knows of the stone.

- I will refrain from using idiomatic expressions while holding the stone, by wishing not to be able to if necessary.

- I will not hold the stone while in an argument, unless I need to use it to make a point.

- I will remember about the nice qualities of language and semantics. That way, if I ever wish for someone to be gay and later regret it, I'll remember that the first meaning of this word was "happy" rather than "homosexual". Same goes for several other examples.

- To prevent people from listening in to wishes, coming in my room while I'm changing into a shemale cheerleader centauress, and otherwise find out about the stone or about something weird going on, I'll wish up for me a nice, private place to use the stone. Many 18-year olds live alone and support themselves.

- I will make myself fairly rich and wish up a coherent way for it to happen within the stone's range. That way I can keep some privacy and independence, just enough to support said private place.

- I will remember some nice books that could help me better use the stone, or show me what NOT to do.

- I will not wish for knowledge that has a chance of rendering me insane.
